At Liz & Dickie’s Dog Walking Services, we are passionate about providing top-quality care and exercise for your furry friends. With years of experience in animal welfare, you can trust us to treat your pup like family.
Liz is a former dog groomer trained to City and Guilds Level 3 and has worked extensively in veterinary practices and kennels for over 5 years.
Dickie is a retired police officer and an avid dog-lover and animal welfare enthusiast and supporter.
We are fully insured for extra peace of mind and can offer bespoke and tailored services to suit an owners busy personal life at highly competitive rates!
Services
We are now offering a 'Cat Stop' Service on a trial basis in the Churchtown area.
A thirty minute house visit includes feeding, cleaning litter trays, play time, medication (if required).
This service costs £12 per visit and again, can be tailored to meet your individual needs, ie curtains drawn, lights on/off, multiple visits, extra time etc.
For additional cats at the location, please add £4 per cat.

Group Dog Walks
We currently walk a maximum of just 2 dogs at any one time to ensure your pet gets our full attention and we never let the dog off a lead without prior written permission of an owner.
We always ensure that the dogs are comfortable in each others company so they enjoy the time spent in our care to the maximum!
Socialize and exercise with other dogs in the great outdoors. Fun guaranteed!

Where do you cover?
We predominantly cover the Southport area, concentrating on Churchtown, Birkdale, Ainsdale and the surrounding areas.
Do you do house-sitting?
At this present time we don't, but we are flexible as to visiting and exercising your fur babies at times and dates suitable for you!
Do you meet the dog beforehand?
Yes, we do, there is no charge made for this as it's important to develop a rapport with a dog before you go on your first adventure together!

Are you busy?
We are currently extremely busy as many of our clients are taking advantage of our one to one service.
You will NEVER see us exercising multiple dogs and breeds-good luck to you if you offer that service-but we are trying to provide a bespoke service tailored to the individual needs of your pet.
We welcome pets of a nervous and timid disposition, but will NOT consider any dog that shows signs of aggression for both our safety and that of others.Thank you for your understanding.
This approach is obviously more time consuming for us, so please try and book early to avoid disappointment!
We hate saying no to potential clients and will always do our best to accommodate!
Are you expensive?
No!
We like to think we are competitively priced and offer great value for money.
All the dogs in our care are treated like they are our own-we love dogs!!!
We never charge for late returns, but ask that owners are available for collection/pick up within 15 minutes of the start or finish of a session to ensure that your pet has been returned (or collected) from Mum or Dad safe and sound!
Do you have a contact number?
If clients complete the online form attached to the website with and provide a contact number, we will call you straight back, usually within the hour!

How can I pay?
Cash or debit transfer-we currently don't have the facility for credit card payments and we are trying to keep our prices as low as possible!
Bank details are available on request for convenient direct payments.
Do you work weekends?
Yes we do, this is a seven day service.
Are you insured?
Yes we are, with public liability insurance up to one million pounds.

What are your prices?
All current prices are displayed at the foot of the web page, for more bespoke packages or requirements, please ask!
We offer further discounts to regular clients and a further 10% off our standard rates for pensioners and emergency services and NHS frontline staff on production of the appropriate accreditation, subject to availability and limited to off peak slots.
